  On this page, we are going to present you in a very brief way the main activities practised in our valley. This list is not complete but will give you a general idea of the various possibilities.   • CLIMBING AND VIA FERRATA The sector of “the street of Masks”, plateau of Simous, under the Mount Dauphin Fort with its 11 sites and Réotier and its 4 sites can be used by the beginners.   • GLIDER The Saint Crepin’s aerodrome (airfield), 5 min away, offers training courses, and discover flying experience.   • PARAGLIDING on the sites of Ceillac and Vallouise, and mountain-flights above the municipality of Réotier   • HIKES Our valley ishighly recognized for its numerous hiking trails. These paths are highly varied and of any levels. According to the season, you will have only a very wide choice, as a recreative, a sportive, or a highly trained individual/familly/group. The receptiën shall gladly inform you about the best choices considering your wishes: Path of Marmots around Vauban starting from the campsite, path of “the head of Vautisse” in the parc des Ecrins

  • MOUNTAIN BIKE – CYCLE TOURING From the Campsite(Camping), you will find numerous marked trails by the FFCV (the french moutain bike federation), more of 400km of superbe pathes and dirt roads. Our information desk offers informatieons and possibility to buy guide-books. Mythical territory for the cyclists, the “pass of Vars”, the “pass of the Izoard”, the “pass fo the Galibier” are waiting for your attempt to climb them!!   • KAYAK – RAFTING The campsite is ideally situated on the edge of the Durance, next to one of the very famous departure point for rafting experience, and the stretch of water by the campsite allows beginers to learn the rudiments of kayaking. With its 2 rivers: the Guil and the Durance, the “Guillestrois” is a sporting destination of wild water par excellence!   • Tourism and cultural visits… The camping La Fountaine and the valley of the Guillestrois are situated in a central place what allows to visit the renowned places of the Hautes-Alpes. Rather than to describe places, we prefer to give you links towards official sites of tourist information centers on which you will find much more relevant information.   • The Village of Réotier Village perched and composed of 15 hamlets, in which you can discover interesting houses with pink marble columns and arches. Its Church St Michel dating of the 19th. century with its curious ex-voto. Its chapel, Notre-Dame des Neiges, ancient memorial and its petrifying fountain impressive natural curiosity The Lake of Serre-Poncon 20 min away.   • The City of Briançon Link towards the tourist information office of Briançon: more infos : http: // www.ot-briancon.fr/

  • Big collars(passes) of the region: Pass of Lautaret 2058m Col du Galibier 2642m Pass of Izoard 2361m Pass Agnel 2744m   • Vallouise, Pelvoux and the Glacier Blanc. Numerous hikes/rides,mountain activities and climbing in the nearby valley. more infos : http://www.vallouise.paysdesecrins.com/   • Queyras Queyras is a vast regional park which contains valleys and places highly different from one another: St Véran, Ceillac, Abriès, Chateau-Queyras, etc…. more infos : http://www.queyras-montagne.com   • Mont-Dauphin The Fortified town of Mount-Dauphin is a classified historical heritage of the UNESCO and is situated in front of camping La Fountaine. Dominating the valleys of Guil and Durance the fortified town and the village are free of acces. more infos : www.mont-dauphin.monuments-nationaux.fr   • Ibexes in the Alpine pasture of Lauzet Situated between Briançon and the Pass of Lautaret. Ideal place for the observation of ibexes.   Of course, there are many of the other places to be visited in the surroundings. Do not hesitate to come to inform you at the reception of the camping..
